Healthy Snacks Cookery Club

Week 1 – Dips and crudites – We made our own guacamole and cheese and chive dips to go with carrot, cucumber and peppers.

We discussed the importance of hygiene and how to use a knife correctly.

Week 2 – Smoothies – We developed our own combinations of fruit to add to a basic smoothie mix that consisted of milk and banana and apple juice, banana and porridge oats.

We discussed the importance of getting your 5-a-day.
