The whole school were treated to a fantastic afternoon of musical extravaganza by Kirklees Music School! We particularly enjoyed trying to guess the name of all the theme tunes they played from popular children's television programmes and soaps - we were very good at this!! The brilliant musicians also played beautiful music from different artists and talked to us about the musical instruments they were using and which family of instruments they came from. Take a look below at some photos and video highlights from a brilliant afternoon.

Years 4, 5 and 6 have been learning 'Ain't no mountain high enough' by Marvin Gaye with their Music teacher, Miss Hewitt. They have done amazingly well to learn the song in just 4 weeks! Miss Hewitt is very impressed with how all the children are progressing in her singing lessons. Below is a video of the children singing this morning!
